Michael August Walton - Born into a family of rich musical history, Michael realized his strong interest in music at an early age. Even at 2 years old he could be found roaming around the halls of his parent's music school banging on every piano and misc. instrument he could get his hands on. Growing up, Michael studied piano, guitar and voice and kept up through college. Upon graduating from St. Joseph's University in 2005 with a degree in Business Marketing, Michael decided to pursue his first love; writing, recording and performing music. Over the past couple years he independently recorded and released 2 albums and toured most of the east coast with his band, "My Name is August". Some highlights include local and regional radio interviews and airplay as well as a performance on NBC's Morning Show, "The 10! Show" While keeping up a heavy recording and touring schedule, Michael decided to share his passion for music and start teaching guitar and piano. After receiving a wealth of positive feedback from his students and an over-whelming amount of word-of-mouth referrals, Michael's in-home studio grew to full capacity. Currently, he has teamed up with Tony Salicondro to establish and direct CMA's In-Home music program.
Jason Wolbach - Based in the Philadelphia area since childhood, Jason Wolbach had his first encounter with a musical instrument at the age of nine with the saxophone and later incorporated guitar, bass, piano and his voice as part of tools to create and explore the world of music. He quickly gravitated towards the guitar above all other instruments and formed his own rock and jazz groups from the age of 14 where he would then perform in local venues and eventually internationally by composing, singing and playing. Although his earliest influence on guitar was the heavy metal group Metallica, Wolbach matured to understand more complex and challenging music. He had the opportunity to study with master jazz guitarists such as Jimmy Bruno, Pat Martino, and Tom Giacabetti among others. His influences span over a wide range of musical styles that include but are not limited to classical, all forms of rock, R & B, country, blues, funk, Latin and jazz. These influences that Wolbach draws from help to make him a creative, solid and versatile guitarist. After attending University of the Arts and Temple University for Jazz Guitar Performance, Wolbach actively pursued opportunities for original music. Some of the more notable groups that he has been a part of included the hard rock group "Cash's 8th", the singer-songwriter duo of "Whittaker and Wolbach" and the quasi-jam group "The DP Band". With these different musical acts, Wolbach has performed in venues such as The TLA and Grape St. Pub of the Philadelphia, The Elbow Room and The Downtown of N.Y. and The Stone Pony of N.J. among other highly attended venues. He has also recorded a full length album with one of his former groups that had mass distribution and was supported by an East Coast touring schedule. Wolbach's latest and longest ongoing endeavor has had him holding the position of Musical Director and guitarist on cruise ships. He started this line of work at the young age of twenty and continued to work abroad on cruise ships on and off for years since then. Being a Musical Director was a job that required him to lead his own band while managing approximately twenty musicians and their respective groups simultaneously. Jason Wolbach has taught guitar, bass and piano for the past 10 years in the Tri-state area and is currently active with freelance work as a guitarist, singer and composer.
